Maryan Haye

Maryan Haye is a Somali-Canadian writer, producer, and actor. Hailing from the Jane Finch community, she is excited to create stories that will highlight underrepresented voices and authentically showcase the intersections of her identity. She is a recent graduate of the RTA Media Production program at Ryerson University, was a 2018 E20 ReelWorld participant, and has taken part in writing workshops at TIFF and the CFC. Her final year thesis project, VISIBLE, is a half hour teen drama pilot about Toronto teens navigating the everyday pressures of high school and their futures.
