Emma Kaputo

Emmanuella Kaputo is a PR professional turned aspiring TV and film marketing professional and producer. She holds a French and communications bachelors degree from York University. After having spent four years working for a PR agency, Emmanuella decided to pursue her passion for filmmaking and enrolled herself in a film program through which she acted as a producer and director on a range of audio-visual projects. She was awarded producer of the year from her graduating class. Emmanuella acts as the director and producer on the docu-series she created called Dear Mom, which is on its second year running and was recently hosted at Shopify. Emmanuella’s varied background in PR provided the perfect foundation for her emerging career as a film and television producer and marketer. Passionate about storytelling through film and its possibilities, Emmanuella hopes to provide services that help tell authentic stories through film and television.After moving back from NYC where she completed a program run by Google for young women looking to get into the business of entertainment last summer she is currently works as an advertising agency producer for brands such as Tim Hortons, Uber & Interac.
