Yasmijn Nicolle

Yasmijn Nicolle is a Montreal and Toronto based actor, writer, producer, and director. She is an alumna of Dawson College’s Professional Theatre Program, from which she graduated in 2016 with honours. She continued her studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She recently completed her mentorship with Black Women Film! and participated in the Black Theatre Workshop YouthWorks program. In 2017, Yasmijn founded her very own production company, Ebony Magic Productions. Since the launch of her company, she co-wrote and produced her first film, Tangle in which she received the “First Time Filmmaker Award”. Yasmijn is passionate about creating roles and opportunities for herself and other artists from multi-cultural backgrounds.
