Ayan Tani

Ayan Tani is passionate about storytelling in all its forms, in creative engines that transform our world. She has a particular interest in film and the power inherent in directing an image and gaze. She has experience as a community worker and researcher, and has brought lessons learned into her film practice. Her first film project, a short documentary titled "My Community is Here" on gentrification in one of the most diverse and affordable neighborhoods in Ottawa, is available to watch via the Herongate Tenant Coalition. She is excited to work and learn with you all.
